Globular clusters orbit galaxies in orbits which are highly eccentric and highly inclined to the galactic plane. Orbiting in the “outskirts” of a galaxy, they take perhaps a few hundred million years to complete a single orbit. In a telescope, a globular cluster looks like a fuzzy ball, with individual stars at the periphery merging into a solid ball of light towards the center. However, this is simply because the stars are so close together that they can’t be resolved individually telescopically. At the center of a globular cluster, stars may ...

VR 360 The Orbits of the TRAPPIST 1 System Video for Virtual Reality Oculus HTC Please don't forget to subscribe  https://www.youtube.com/c/VR360TV/?sub_confirmation=1 Welcome to another mind expanding virtual reality space video, This video slowly travels towards the Trappist-1 Exoplanet solar system star, as it approaches the systems sun you can see each planet and its orbital path. You then get right up close to the star, then travel backwards past all the orbital planets, then travel at light speed out of the system and galaxy.       The TRAPPIST-1 system contains a total of seven planets, all around the size of Earth. Three of them — TRAPPIST-1e, f and g — dwell in their star's so-called "habitable zone." The habitable zone, or Goldilocks zone, is a band around every star (shown here in green) where astronomers have calculated that temperatures are just right — not too hot, not too cold — for liquid water to pool on the surface of an Earth-like world....
